Over the past year, the consumer definition of SPAM has changed. The inbox is a more crowded environment, with users often treating any message that doesn’t provide immediate value as SPAM and clicking on the “report as SPAM” link in their email browser. This action has an immediate negative impact on email deliverability, with most ISP’s allowing only about 1 in 1000 “complaints” before taking notice and potentially bulking messages.

Datran Media’s Director of Strategic & Analytics Services, Nicholas Einstein, is currently leading an engaging email lab session at the Online Marketing Summit in San Diego, CA. He will be discussing how best to allocate resources within an email program to generate the most, near-term, return on investment, and provide real value to customers and prospects.
